Team Manager -- 3 available positions
Team managers will be responsible for various activities which aid in helping practices, games, and other team functions run smoothly. Some of these responsibilities include: scoreboard management, game filming, greeting and assisting visiting teams and referees, equipment management and other various tasks.
These positions are unpaid, but offer students a chance to be a part of a well respected and well liked University organization. All members of the UNH Club Hockey family not only build character in their respective roles in the organization, but they also build lifelong relationships with their peers. These positions are also great sources of experience for students looking to work in the sports industry as professionals. They will have exposure to team operations and make contacts with well respected industry professionals who are currently a part of or alumni of the organization.
The team holds one to two practices per week and averages two games on the weekend, for an average total of four events per week throughout the season (roughly the end of Sept. through the first week of March, see schedule). While all three managers are welcome at all events, practices and away games would only require one manager, and home games would require 2. This will help the team organize a flexible schedule for managers if necessary.
Managers are considered a vital part of the team, and therefore would receive the same apparel as the players and coaches.
Team Website Administrator and Statistician -- One Position
The Team Website Administrator and Statistician will be responsible for all updating and general maintenance of the website. This includes creating news articles, advertisements, updating player and coach information, posting game results, and updating statistics.
